Behind DEVO Watches is Eoin Devlin and we asked him a few quick questions so you can get to know him!
1. Where did you grow up?
In a small town called Blessington in County Wicklow, Ireland. I am relocating to Miami Florida in early 2021.
2. What’s your favorite music genre?
American Country and old Irish Folk Music. A song must be a story for me to enjoy it!
3. Recommend a book you recently read.
Mastery by Robert Greene. It will change your whole mindset.
4. What’s the best advice you can give to someone who just started their career?
Is this really the career you want? Don’t waste time do what you love and don’t think about a plan B if you really want it it will work out.
5. What’s your favorite video/board games and why?
Pokemon Yellow on the GameBoy Color!
6. What was your favorite band 10 years ago?
Blink 182/ Green Day
7. How would you spend a million dollars in 24 hours?
Watches and cars! First car I would buy Ferrari Testarossa and first watch Patek Philippe Annual Calendar Chronograph Special Series Ref. 5905P-014 (Geeky reference numbers for those who care)
8. What’s the coolest thing you’re working on right now?
Our newest watch at DEVO Watches which we hope to release around end of February! So excited about this! Get ready for some ART DECO!
9. What was your first job?
Food delivery driver. Got me through school and college!
10. Have you taken a huge leap of faith at work? Did it pay off?
In the process now come back next year and I will let you know if it paid off!
11. If you could snap your fingers and become an expert in something, what would it be?
Master Watch Maker
12. What’s one hobby you’d love to get into?
Surfing! Did it for the first time in 2020 and now I want to sell everything and buy a VW van and a surf board.
13. What fictional place would you most like to visit?
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!
14. What’s something you want to do in the next year that you’ve never done before?
Visit South America. Lets hope we can do some travelling by the end of 2021!
15. Are you a coffee or tea person?
Never drank a cup of coffee in my life. but do drink around 5 cups of tea a day. I’m Irish its like our water.
